Some weddings come along and fill you with excitement, others scare you a little….Jessica is a wedding planner from London so I knew it had to be detail perfect and was totally honoured that she chose us to create the florals for her day. Rudding Park Hotel and Spa is a stunning setting not too far from us and one we love to dress. It is a very elegant set up with lots of gorgeous land surrounding it. We sourced David Austin roses, dahlias, roses in all soft tones of gold, blush and white for the flowers. We used candles and rose petals to line the chapel at Rudding Park. The whole day was captured by Holly and Phil from Belle and Beau Photography so we knew the images were going to be breathtaking. The bridal bouquets were a beautiful textured mass of summer flowers that smelt amazing and were finished with an initial broach for each maid. We even dressed a swing in the grounds of Rudding Park for the bride to enjoy. We lined the staircase with vases of blowsy hydrangea and summer blooms. It looked incredible.
The wedding breakfast tables looked super elegant and regal using our silver punch bowls with a mixture of twelve votives on each table of different types. The top table was lined with a mass of different textures to add to the opulent feel. I loved the fact that the bride had added two chairs opposite her and the groom so people could join them and say hello, such a gorgeous idea.
The colour palate was kept to a whites, blushes and golds throughout the day so it all works together seamlessly, from the dresses to the shoes ( oh the shoes!!! ) to the votives on the table. The personal touch of putting an initial of the bridesmaids on to their own bouquets was so thoughtful and the swing for the bride added to the fairytale day. We dressed it with simple blooms to create a soft feel.
