First Yorkshire Wedding this year in Victoria Hall, Saltaire

So this lovely lady came to see us a while back, we totally fell in love with her, she excitedly told us about her dream tones for the flowers for her wedding in Victoria Hall in Saltaire. Its a World Heritage Site and is absolutely one of my fave places to wander. We were asked for dark, moody and dramatic flowers. Heavy tones of make up by Evangeline Horner and stunning hair was designed by Caroline Louise  Our bride also wore a beautiful bespoke flower crown full of deep colours and textures. She looked incredible and so did her merry maids.

The brides bouquet was a mass of spring deep tones of burgundy and wine with hints of blush. We used hellebore, ranunculus, roses, calla lilies, skimmia, hypericum, ivy and eucalyptus. It was a front facing over sized dream and looked a fantastic contrast to the Claire Pettibone dress from Lace and Co Bridal Boutique, the bride was wearing. We dressed the ceremony with a large arrangement to go in front of the couple on the table and scattered rose petals and orchids heads along a lantern lit aisle.

The wedding breakfast was quirky, detailed and so well thought out. The tables were round and we filled them with an eclectic mix of vases containing flowers to match the bridal bouquet. The images here are by the official photographer Mr and Mrs Wedding photography. The room was dressed with an old school living room style photo-booth, dressing table for cheese and sweets. The tables were dressed with books and tea caddys to reflect the 1920’s vibe. It all came together perfectly. Hope you enjoy the images.
