An outdoor wedding ceremony in a garden in York, followed by a beautiful hydrangea filled marquee, It was the prettiest of set ups, the long months before hand planning and stressing were most certainly worth it! Working with the passionate force that is Charlotte from Eden and Eve planning we worked tirelessly on this beautiful, elegant wedding in a private residence in York. Our camp for the days leading up to the wedding was under a beautiful apple tree where we dodged the rain and worked by phone light the night before the wedding!
The ceremony altar was created using a mass of flowers that provided an incredible backdrop with elegant drapes and floral tie backs. We lined the aisle with storm vases and candles and a carpet of scented norma jean roses that smelt out of this world. It was a career highlight and looked incredible. We used a mixture of roses, stocks, eryngium thistle, eucalyptus and dahlias with echeveria succulents wired in. The chairs lining the aisle were dressed with chiffon and each had a single rose and thistle.
The bride and her maids dressed in varying shades of blue carried hydrangea, dahlias, roses and thistles with spray roses. SO looking forward to seeing the professional photos by Nicola Denby as I forgot to take a photo of these. Buttonholes were ivory roses for Yorkshire and blue thistles with succulents for texture.
The guests were then led down the beautiful garden to enjoy drinks under the beautiful shades of india canopy. I adore this company and the tents are divine. We dressed the coffee tables here with low arrangement in clear vases.
The table plan was created as a hanging installation under the trees, for this we provided silver candlesticks, rose petals and rose head votives.
We created a hanging floral frame wall full of beautiful blooms, the tables were dressed with huge clear ornate vases and silver punch bowls bursting with hydrangea and roses. The epic cake table was a cloud of flowers with the cake floating on top created by Whimsical Cake company. The table numbers in the most beautiful letterpress were held up with pretty hydrangeas. It was all just breathtaking.
Here are some of the behind the scenes photos from the days leading up to the wedding and some from Molineaux Productions, we shall share more professional ones as soon as we can. What a Dream job!
